CES 2009 will be a hotbed for new technology releases, and we’re surely excited to see Intel’s range of prototype devices that are able to bring the Internet to your TV – just make sure you have a decent HDTV, otherwise your eyes will probably be the first to go as you try to make out what those funny characters on the display look like. In addition, these prototypes will run mini-applications that aim to complement TV viewing with additional information from the Internet (hopefully these are credible sources), while viewers are able to chat with friends or purchase products in real time on the TV via online stores. Anything to help you stay in couch all day long while spending your hard-earned money, eh?
