The InVision concept you see here could actually make the iPhone more desirable as it becomes accessible to the visually impaired. This is made possible by joining an embossed “Moon Type” alphabet casing, a customized home screen and a screenreading application. This combination could potentially offer most of the iPhone’s core functions including bearable browsing, text input and music navigation even for the visually impaired. It sounds too good to be true, and unfortunately, it is. After all, things are so simple and clear cut in real life. Chances are screenreading and interface applications will need to undergo a long time of research and development, not to mention that deep integration into the iPhone’s operating system will certainly violate App Store rules.
