jOG On For The Wii

Let’s face the facts – playing video games won’t keep you fit, not even if you’re indulging in plenty of Wii sessions at home. Well, that hasn’t stopped games companies from trying, and jOG On is the next in line to usurp Wii Fit’s success. This is but a souped up pedometer that must be attached to the Wii, while an attachment is hooked onto your belt for an entertaining, sweat-drenched session. The jOG will detect whether your player is moving in the game, so make sure you stay in step with your avatar, otherwise you will be frozen in the game itself. This attachment will only function with movement, so aspects including direction still fall under the purview of the gamepad. Expect it to hit the Wii sometime before the year is over.
