Leica Lens Arrives On Micro Four Thirds Camera

Novoflex has a brand new lens adapter that allows one to place a Leica lens onto a Micro Four Thirds camera, with Micro Four Thirds (MFT) adapters for Leica R (the SLR lenses), Nikon, Contax/Yashica, Olympus, Pentax and Minolta lenses in the works as well. This piece of news ought to keep shutterbugs happy, that’s for sure. It ain’t too expensive either, with the lens adapter retailing for a mere €150. It is interesting to note that purchasing third-party lenses for your camera is easy, although the reverse is not quite true. Hopefully other camera manufacturers will support the MFT standard in order to bring high-end photography to the masses.
