Lenovo Cuts Ideapad Prices

Lenovo has begun to slash prices for its IdeaPad S-series range of netbooks from $50 to $80, depending on the model. You can now pick up the basic black or white IdeaPad S10s for $349, while custom-colored S10s will now retail for $359 compared to its previous high of $439. Just to recap, both models come with the following :-

• 10.2″ LED-backlit LCD display
• Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor
• 80GB hard drive
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• 512MB RAM
• Windows XP Home

As for the recently introduced 160GB version, it will now retail for $399 and $409 for the black/white and custom-colored models, respectively.
