Lenovo has made available its IdeaPad S9 in the US, making it an alternative to those who are mulling over the S10. Just like its cousin, the Lenovo IdeaPad S9 comes with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor but will feature a smaller display with less storage space. Not only that, you won’t be able to enjoy Windows on this as it will run on Linux, making us scratch our heads wondering why would anyone pick up this $349 (or thereabouts) netbook when you can get much more bang for your buck with the IdeaPad S10. Ah well, different strokes for different folks, we guess. A 4GB solid state drive, 512MB RAM and a 1,024 x 600 resolution rounds off the list of features.
