This is getting ridiculous – naming conventions of cell phones from LG, that is. Recently, the Korean consumer electronics giant has rolled out its new LG-SH490 clamshell phone, better known as the Make-up Phone. It will come in a trio of different case designs such as Smoky Red, Deep Blue and Pearl White, and users have the option to conjure up to 18 of their very own emoticons to be displayed on the front panel thanks to the LED animation lighting provided. You will also find VoIP support, a global roaming service, a 3 megapixel camera and a built-in electronic dictionary in the Make-up Phone. No idea why it is named that since it won’t save your mascara from running when you’re bawling your eyes out at the next teen flick. The LG-SH490 will be available in Korea only via SK Telecom for approximately $375 after conversion. Can’t argue about their choice of models, though.
