Just when you thought that only third-rate hardware manufacturers of weird gizmos would come up with watch phones, along comes a giant like LG to reveal their LG-GD910 – touted to be the first 3G HSDPA watch phone in the world. This model allows you to hold a video call over your wrist, while you get to play around with a 1.43″ color touchscreen LCD display, coupled with MP3 playback and Text-To-Speech capability for easier “reading” of text messages when they arrive in your inbox. The LG-GD910 will target both Korean and European markets, and we’ll definitely try to get a closer look at it next month at CES 2009 in Las Vegas. Watch this space!
