MSI has rolled out the first hybrid storage netbook in the market – bringing the wonders of SSD along with the best-bang-for-buck hard drive in a single device. Depending on your budget (a grave concern in these tough economic times), you can choose from either an 8GB or 16GB SSD to go along with the 120GB or 160GB hard drive. Other features on the MSI U115 include :-
- 10″ LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution
- Intel Atom Z350 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 2.0 megapixel camera
Thanks to this new setup, the U115 Hybrid will temporarily disconnect the hard drive while it is running in “ECO On” mode. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time. Image courtesy of Engadget.
