NEC Offers New VersaPro UltraLight VC Notebook

NEC of Japan will be releasing its new VersaPro UltraLight VC notebook next month (or should we say, next year) that will come with the following :-

• 12.1″ LCD display at WXGA resolution
• Intel Celeron 723/Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor options
• 1GB RAM
• 80GB hard drive
• Intel GS45 Express chipset
• Optional SSD
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Fingerprint sensor
• Felica port
• SD memory card slot

You can opt for either Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business, although the celery, er, Celeron processor might not have enough muscle for your computing needs. Prices start from €1,200 and goes all the way to €1,600, depending on the configuration.
