Nokia has yet another clamshell for the masses in the form of the CDMA Nokia 2608. This has more bark than bite, leaving you impressed with its fuchsia exterior with very little else when you power up the handset. Needless to say, this is but an entry level phone that will probably retail for less than nothing as long as you sign on the dotted line of a contract. Other features include an integrated FM radio, a voice recorder (doubt it will store much though), a built-in flashlight, a mobile organizer and the ability to use it as a modem (EDGE at best, methinks). The Nokia 2608 is tipped to arrive in stores outside the US sometime in Q1 next year.
