Who says tech must be functional and look boring? Novatel proves everyone wrong with its new EV-DO ExpressCard known as the MiFi. This mobile 3G hotspot allows you to get your Internet life on in a speedy manner no matter where you are, as it is able to route your choice of EV-DO Rev. A or HSPA over Wi-Fi. Best of all is, it is approximately the same size as that of a credit card, making it highly portable without looking ugly when seated beside your sleek new laptop. The internal battery is able to last for up to 4 hours of continuous usage before requiring a recharge, or 40 hours of standby time on a single charge. We can look forward to the MiFi sometime in the first half of next year via carriers and retail channels.
