Numark Unveils HDMIX DJ Computer

Numark is no stranger when it comes to DJ equipment and accessories, and they have just released its HDMIX DJ computer that functions as a DJ mixer for files sourced from CD-RWs, DVD-RWs, a hard drive or any USB-connected device. You get an 80GB hard drive that is locked in place, although that can be swapped out if you require much more than that (maximum of 1TB). A high-resolution color LCD display makes it a snap to peruse through files, allowing one to sort libraries by name, artist, album, genre or beats per minute (BPM). DJs are also empowered to build their own custom playlists, and can access a bundled keyboard when the need arises. The Numark HDMIX comes with three input channels, where individual channels feature a dedicated EQ and gain control. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
