Just when you thought that fake Christmas trees look like the real thing, along comes the OLED Christmas tree from GE’s Global Research Center headquarters in Niskayuna, NY. It throws a green light in its immediate surroundings, where GE’s flexible OLED panels make for quite a tree. It won’t be cheap of course, since we all know just how expensive small OLED displays are, but then again technological advancements in a field have been known to reduce the price by a fair bit in due time with the appropriate marketing and demand. Hopefully this will be a start of something more affordable for the masses in the near future. Thank you for giving, GE.
