Philips has a brand new flagship universal remote control – the Prestigo SRT9320. What you will get with this modern version of a magic wand includes :-
- 2.8″ color touchscreen display
- Buttons on lower segment
- Controls up to 20 devices
- Completely programmable
- USB connectivity
Strange that after forking out $249 for something like this, you still lack RF control and a charging cradle. A much better option would be Logitech’s Harmony line that costs less than two Benjamins and yet are infinitely easier to use according to initial reports. Guess it is back to the drawing board for Philips if they want to make the Prestigo SRT9320′s 2009 release a success.
