Revolving Door Generates Power

After reading this, you will probably say to yourself, “Why didn’t I do anything about it when the thought flashed across my mind?” As the adage goes, the early bird gets the worm, which is why Netherlands-based company Natuurcafé La Port is the first in the world to install a power generator into a revolving door. The door is located at the entrance to the Driebergen-Zeist railway station, and is touted to generate around 4600 kwh of energy a year – that is roughly the equivalent of what the average household requires each year. Will hotels at Las Vegas install this in due time?
