Skype has just rolled out a brand new version of its Skype client for Windows Mobile-powered phones, allowing you to chat on your handset as though you were using Skype on the computer. As usual calls to other Skype users will be free, while outgoing or incoming calls to/from landline/cell phones will require paid plans. In addition, you are now able to send and receive instant messages from your friends who are on Skype, too. Improvements in Skype 2.5 Beta for Windows Mobile include better call quality, a more stable operating environment and a closer resemblance to the desktop version to make it easier for those new to the Windows Mobile platform to make a jump.
