Sneak Peek Of Clevo Notebooks

Clevo has prepped a quartet of notebooks for CeBIT in Germany this March, but we’ve managed to snag a look at these. Some of the highlights include :-

  • The Clevo TN70xM is a 7″ tablet with a rotating 1024 x 600 pixel screen, an Intel Atom Z series CPU, and a 4 cell battery which will reportedly last for 6 to 8 hours
  • The Clevo M71xL is a clamshell notebook style netbook with a 10.2″, 1024 x 600 pixel display and an Intel Atom N270 CPU
  • The Clevo M81xL has a 10.1″, 1024 x 600 pixel display and an Intel Atom N270 CPU, and will be the thinnest of the bunch, measuring less than 29mm thick
  • The Clevo 89xM has an 8.9″, 1024 x 600 pixel display which rotates for use in tablet mode and sports an Intel Atom Z500 CPU and rugged case design

There is no word on pricing, but these seem to gravitate more towards the netbook category than anything else. Don’t expect to use them for anything more than casual Internet surfing and handling a few Word documents, as you can rule out gaming with those specifications.
