During the previous Apple event, Steve Jobs asked his senior staff to be on stage to show that Apple is more than Steve Jobs. I don’t know for you, but it looks like many people (including the financial markets) are worried that Steve Jobs might take a step back soon and wonder what will happen to Apple after that. Of course, Apple is not Steve Jobs alone, but the company’s edge in design and ability to deliver the right product at the right time reflects a strong and firm positioning that might be much harder to achieve without someone solidly behind the wheel. What’s your take?
This might mean that Apple does not have something very exciting to announce, or that a transition of power has started. Only time will tell.In addition to that Apple will not participate to MacWorld Expo after the upcoming one.
