Via has earned a Excellent Product Award at WinHEC, thanks to the energy-efficient and eco-sensitive design if its Nano processor. The Nano has a smaller package (the board that holds the pins) and consumes only 7.5 watts, which is low, but not lower than Intel’s Atom. I’m not sure how much waste an Intel Atom generates, but Via has certainly earned this award. The future of computing is not bigger, hotter and nosier.
