Windows 7 Beta Coming Soon

The general populace will be able to give the first beta of Microsoft Windows 7 a go in the near future, especially those attendees of upcoming MDC events, a series of Microsoft-sponsored road shows that run from early December through mid-February, will receive a Windows 7 Beta 1 DVD in the mail “when they become available.” While no concrete dates have been released, there are whispers that the disc itself will be ready before January 13. It would be interesting to see the reactions and comments of those who will have tried this out when it is available, and hopefully when early 2010 rolls around, the completed Windows 7 will cause more of a positive ripple than Windows Vista ever did. It might even wrestle back some market share on Microsoft’s behalf, eh?
