[CES 2009] Altec Lansing has unveiled its Expressionist Classic, one of Altec Lansing’s smallest computer audio systems to date without compromising on audio quality that Altec Lansing is famous for in its history. You get dual 3″ drivers that offer balanced treble and bass, providing accurate, full-spectrum sound without taking up much space on your desktop at all. This retro styled speakers will feature the following :-
- Two 3” full-range drivers
- Sound Pressure Level (SPL): 90 dB
- Total Continuous Power: 15 Watts RMS
- Each Speaker: 7.5 Watts per Channel @ 8ohms @ 10% THD @ 50 Hz – 19 kHz
- System Response: 50 Hz – 19 kHz (-10 dB)
- Signal to Noise Ratio @ 1 kHz input: more than 85 dB
Those who are interested can pick up the Altec Lansing Expressionist Classic for $79.95. I’m not too keen on retro or classic styling though, as this pair is an acquired taste that departs from standard speaker designs we’re used to. What do you think?
