I’ll be the first to admit, T-Mobile HotSpot@Home is just awesome (it turns your router into a cell tower, for all practical purposes), and now that AT&T might be doing something similar, I *might* actually start considering using them again.
AT&T 3G Microcell can recognize up to 10 phones and handle 4 simultaneous calls. It works by routing your calls through a WIFI broadband connection to AT&T’s network. That pretty much guarantees a great reception at home, and would also mean free, unlimited, calls.
Now there are a few downsides: First, it requires a 3G phone. Secondly, it won’t work on any router. That’s what’s great with T-Mobile’s HotSpot@Home, it works with virtually all routers. AT&T 3G Microcell
