
CNET has had some extra time on their hands to check out which is the best High Definition video web service available, and pitted the following names against each other – Blip, DailyMotion, Facebook, SmugMug, Vimeo and of course, YouTube. Which would you root for before you read CNET’s conclusion? Well, those who voted for YouTube are spot on. After all’s said and done, YouTube has emerged the victor where quality and terms of use (which is free, basically) are concerned, and by moving into the world of High Definition recently, YouTube has positioned itself strongly, standing heads and shoulders above its competitors as they do not have the money to compete (bandwidth is expensive).
