If you happen to be a proud owner of the BlackBerry Bold, there is an unofficially released firmware at the moment – version 4.6.0.228. all you need to do is install Desktop Manager, run the following OS install file, hook up your Bold with a USB cable while Desktop Manager is running and you’re good to go. As usual, proceed with a backup and some caution since this is a publicly unreleased version that has managed to leak out, so Murphy’s Law could be at work here if you aren’t careful. Kudos to those who have gotten their Bolds up and running just fine with the latest firmware.
