1.9 million iPhone 3Gs were sold in the fourth quarter of last year by AT&T, which is estimated to be quadruple the amount of handsets compared to the number of BlackBerry Storms that made they way into consumers’ hands. This success has seen the Dallas-based telecom giant post $0.41 earnings per share (EPS) for the fourth quarter, while its full-year earnings per share received a bump to $2.16 from $1.94 for 2007.
