M&A Technology has rolled out its Companion Touch, a tablet PC based on Intel’s Convertible Classmate netbook that targets the education industry. You will get the following basic specifications :-

  • 60GB hard drive
  • 4-cell battery
  • Windows XP Home operating system
  • 1.3 megapixel webcam

  • Customizable skin
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 2-in-1 memory card slot
  • Two USB 2.0 ports

The M&A Companion Touch has been priced at $499.99 which ain’t too shabby actually. It is, in essence, similar in specifications to the 2GO Classmate Convertible PC.
