Faith Quintevall got the idea of creating this keyboard while waiting in line with “impatient clients” of a non-typist mechanic who was struggling to find letters on his office computer. This innovative keyboard features alphabetically laid out keys that make them easier to find for beginner typists. In addition the function keys on the top are also shortcuts for common symbols like “@” and commons IM abbreviations.
I am not sure if getting used to this uncommon keyboard layout is the best way to learn typing, but for some people it might be easier. The Fast Finger Keyboard is available for $27.95.
