G1 MemoryUp App Deletes Data, Freezes Phone

MemoryUp, an Android application for the T-Mobile G1 had caused quite a lot of troubles to users who tested it. It also installs adware and spams mailboxes – wow, that’s quite a lot of damage for a single app.

Tens of thousands of downloads have already occurred, but hopefully, you’ll read this before being the next one. [via Geek.com, Gizmodo]
