HTC Touch Cruise Announced

HTC, makers of highly desirable smartphones, has just announced its latest masterpiece – the HTC Touch Cruise. As you can tell from its name, it will feature a full touchscreen display as found in previous HTC Touch iterations, although the Cruise part has nothing to do with the Scientology-believing actor who loves jumping on couches. What can you expect from the yet-to-be-priced Touch Cruise? Check out the following details and see if they move you (and your wallet) to pick one up when available.

  • GPS and A-GPS
  • Quad-band GSM/WCDMA/HSPA:900/2100MHz, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, 3G
  • Windows Mobile 6.1
  • 2.8″ QVGA touchscreen display
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
  • mini-USB 2.0
  • microSD memory card slot

Expect to see the HTC Touch Cruise arrive on the global stage sometime in spring, so that leaves you with very little time to save if your reserves are down to zero at the moment. We wonder whether there is a Windows Mobile 6.5 update in the offing for the Touch Cruise considering their respective release dates ought to be real close to one another.
