i2! Stream Offers Wireless Audio

[CES 2009] Wireless audio is nice to have, and the i2! Stream could prove to be the device that brings it mainstream for everyday use. I was attracted to the booth by the lighted ring (up to 7 colors) like a moth to lamps, and I’m not disappointed. The i2! is not only able to stream music, it also sends music to other devices as well. Each purchase comes with a couple of everything – the i2! Stream, 12″ audio cables, 28″ audio cables and USB charging cables. Connect one of the i2! Stream into the source audio device and carry the other i2! around with you that has a pair of earphones hooked up to it. Depending on the color on the i2! stream, it will stream and send music with a blinking and steady color, respectively. Since you can cycle through 7 colors, there are 7 different frequencies to choose from. It is charged via USB and can last up to 7 hours of continuous audio playback on a single charge. Just make sure you don’t wander further than the 30 feet radius and you’re good. The i2! Stream has already been around for more than half a year but the company’s trying to build up its presence Stateside after doing pretty well in Europe, picking up a CES award in the process. You can find the i2! Stream on online sites from $80 upwards.
