Philips Ultra Widescreen Cinema 21:9 HDTV

Philips goes all the way to 21:9 to deliver the “Cinema” experience at home. There’s no denying that this LCD TV look very, very cool. It has a 56″ diagonal and displays movies the way they were meant to (well, almost. The true cinema ratio is just a bit different). The pricing remains a mystery for now, but with the low volume, we expect to cost significantly more than a 56″ 16:9 TV. Also, it’s not clear if computers would support the screen resolution (TBD).
