[CES 2009] Toshiba is coming up with a new gaming monster laptop to complete its line of Qosmio X305. Equipped with the new low cost Intel Quad Core Q9000 (30% of the QX 9300’s price), the Qosmio X305-Q725 is going after the top of the line, the X305-Q708, for a much better price: “only” $2,699.99.
With this new model, Toshiba is filling the market segment between the X305-Q706 ($1999.99) and the most powerful configuration of the line which cost $4,199.99. Features include a mobile Intel GS45 Express Chipset, a NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX with an astounding 1 GB GDDR3 discrete graphics memory, a 17″ 1680×1050 resolution TFT LCD , a 64 GB ATA SSD and a 320 GB (7200 RPM) hard drive, 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM , all this at a heavy weight of 8.99 lbs.
