Radar For iPhone

Radar is a media sharing application for mobile devices and, Tiny Pictures, the company behind it, is announced its new free version for the iPhone. Radar allows mobile users to have a visual conversation by adding instant comments to the pictures that they send to friends. Radar is available for free at the app store, and for people who do not own an iPhone (like myself), it is also availble for Java, Windows Mobile, Sidekick and Blackberry. Sharing

  • Upload iPhone pictures, either from the camera or from the photo library
  • Control who sees each post: mark any picture as ‘friends only’ or ‘public’, and allow or block individuals or groups on any post
  • Sync with Facebook to share pictures on Facebook profiles and newsfeeds
  • Sync with Twitter to instantly share public pictures as Twitter updates

Browsing and commenting

  • View an ongoing stream of pictures shared between friends in My Radar
  • Sort by latest posts or latest comments to quickly stay on top of what friends are doing and saying
  • ‘Whisper’ to post a private comment
  • Receive real-time text and email alerts to stay on top of conversations as they happen
  • Subscribe to daily content feeds from partners in the Radar Gallery
