The Samsung HMX R10 can records full-HD movies and snap high-resolution still images, but what we really like about it is that it tries to set the bar higher when it comes to camcorder ergonomics. We have tried many models over the years and often, handling a camcorder hasn’t been our best experience with an imaging device. Samsung tried to change this with the HMX-R10 by changing the way people hold the camcorder. From the photo, it’s quite obvious that the grip seems more natural. But we will need to see it in action before drawing any conclusions. Available this summer.
