The Sharp SH810C offers – dare we say it, a razor sharp (pardon the pun) 8 megapixel CCD camera module to go along its 3″ LCD display that boasts a resolution of 854 x 480. It seems as though the SH810C is currently available in China, and there is no word on whether this rectangular clamshell handset will ever make its way to Europe or North America. What do you think? Is an 8 megapixel camera really that essential in phones these days? Until flash technology catches up with the lens, the number of extremely high megapixels don’t really matter in our book.
