SmartBase Targets iPhone 3G

What do you think of the SmartBase for the iPhone 3G? We think it is plain silly, but hey – if you want to splurge $24 on something that seats your iPhone 3G neatly, go ahead. It is apparently designed for the iPhone 3G to be easily lifted when you get a call, and makes typing more comfortable on the desk. Let’s just say this is a glorified charger and leave it at that. At the very least, you can be sure the SmartBase won’t crack like Humpty Dumpty if you drop it on the floor since it is made of elastomeric rubber (same can’t be said for your iPhone 3G though…).
