Sprint has made available the CDMA version of Palm’s Treo Pro, and it will retail for $349 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Of course, in order to snag the Treo Pro that delectable price point, you will first need to sign up for an Everything plan, Data Premier add-on or PRO Pack add-on. Might as well do so if you’re a first time (smart)phone user, or are you looking for a new provider once your contract is up? A quick recap on what the Treo Pro offers :-
- 320 x 320 touchscreen display
- QWERTY keyboard
- microSD memory card slot
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
- 2 megapixel camera
- GPS navigation
- Windows 6.1 Mobile Professional
Since this is a Sprint model, expect it to come with Sprint-specific features such as Sprint TV, Sprint Music store, Sprint Mobile sync and NFL Mobile Live access. We’re not too sure whether this will make it big in terms of sales after all the hype the Palm Pre has generated since its announcement at CES 2009.
