While the Palm platform was a juggernaut in its heydays, it has since gone through tough times (although we do have a healthy dose of optimism with the recently announced Palm Pre). That doesn’t mean people who grew up on the Palm platform have forgotten about just how easy to use its software was. Wish the same can be said for applications on the Symbian platform? Well, StyleTap has rolled out a preview version of StyleTap Platform applications for Symbian-powered smartphones, giving you access to over 30,000 applications that were developed for the Palm OS back in its day. It would be interesting to see how many people would make the jump with StyleTap Platform applications which are compatible with S60 3rd Edition, S60 5th Edition and UIQ 3.0 platforms. The Symbian-version emulator also boasts a new feature that lets applications run in 320 x 320 pixels.
