Tokyoflash Kisai Keisan Confounds The Simple

What’s the point of a watch that requires a fair amount of gray matter to decipher the current time? Strangely enough, Tokyoflash has developed something of a cult following where people love purchasing timepieces that have a pretty steep learning curve compared to good old analog and digital watches. The latest addition to the Tokyoflash stable is the Kisai Keisan that comes with a quartet of raised convex bubbles, where each of them display the numbers 0 to 9. To tell the current time, hit the solitary button on the side, sum up the numbers displayed in each column and you’re good to go. As with other Tokyoflash watches, this one won’t come cheap no thanks to a high grade aluminum band and body with a polished alumite coating, retailing for $255 each.
