TRENDnet has taken the CES 2009 show as a platform to roll out its new 300Mbps Wireless N Gaming Adapter known as the TEW-647GA. This allows you to hook up your Ethernet-ready gaming console to a lag-free high-speed wireless n network without having to worry about how close it needs to be near the Internet connection. Apparently, the TEW-647GA is a snap to set up as its network settings can be configured via the PC’s Web browser in a jiffy. Features include backwards compatibility with 802.11b/g routers, wireless encryption, Advanced Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna technology as well as Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) that enables users to network to a supporting WPS router at the touch of a button.
