
Other touch phones have a TruPhone app, but until now, the G1 did not. Now, that’s fixed and T-Mobile G1 users can also call for cheap internationally. TruPhone is a voice over IP (VOIP) application that uses the phone’s internet connection to relay voice calls. It works with WIFI or with the phone’s 2G or 3G data connection.
