Velocity Micro NoteMagix M10

Velocity Micro has rolled out a couple of lightweight notebooks at CES, where the NoteMagix M10 is the company’s maiden entry in the netbook market while the NoteMagix M5 comes in the form of a touchscreen handheld PC. The M10 pretty much keeps up to the norm with uts Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, USB 2.0 ports, a multi-memory card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, VGA and audio outputs, Wi-Fi connectivity and a 10.1″ display. Velocity Micro claims you can squeeze out around 5 hours of performance from its 4-cell battry. As for the NoteMagix M5, this tablet PC has a rather small 4.8″ 800 x 480 resolution touchscreen, featuring a bevy of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. The NoteMagix M10 and M5 will retail for $379 and under $500, respectively, when they’re out this spring.
