Xbox Live Price Drops To $30

Amazon is currently offering a $20 discount on an annual subscription to Xbox Live, dropping the price tojust $29.97 – resulting in a savings of 40%. Who couldn’t do with a little bit of penny pinching these days, eh? Do you think this is a temporary one-off vendor sale, or is it a “preview” of Microsoft’s upcoming move to drop the price permanently in order to allow more people to hop on the Xbox Live bandwagon considering they’ve done pretty well throughout the holiday season with Xbox 360 sales? Only time will tell, and those who love online multiplayer gaming on their Xbox will definitely welcome this piece of news with open arms (and wallets).
