$1 Per Watt at First Solar

First Solar is saying that their “manufacturing cost is now below $1 per watt“, which is a huge milestone. Not so long ago costs were above $3/Watt! But as treehugger points out, installation costs play a big role in the overall cost and should not be forgotten.
