Looks like netbook manufacturers aren’t content with just 10″ of viewing real estate and plan to increase the ante to 11.6″, although agreements between netbook manufacturers and Microsoft have clearly pointed to XP-powered systems not passing the 10″ mark where screen size is concerned. Will this new development cause Microsoft to amend its clause, or will the Redmond giant stick to its guns? Whatever the case is, we do know that netbook manufacturers will be rolling out 11.6″ models later this year that feature 1,366 x 768 resolution. Hopefully this piece of news does not make you put off your netbook purchase even longer.
