Acer seems to be pretty serious about re-entering the smartphone market, although their efforts to keep things under wraps is suspect with a couple of handsets, the DX650 and X960 leaked already before an official announcement is released. The former is a dual-sided phone that takes after the Samsung UpStage, featuring a dedicated number pad and tiny OLED display on the back for easy calling, while a 2.8″ touchscreen display is located on the other side, powered by Windows Mobile 6.1. As for the X960, that is a standard 2.8″ touchscreen dispaly phone powered by dual cameras (VGA and 3.2 megapixels) as well as a 533MHz ARM processor. Just like the DX650, the X960 is tipped to feature GPS navigation, 3G over HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.
