Endless Ideas (a Dutch company) has just announced that the next generation BeBook will be demonstrated in March at Cebit (March 6th) and at the Salon du Livre (Paris, March 13th-18th). While the physical design is not known yet, here are the highlights:
- WIFI and/or 3G connectivity
- TouchScreen Navigation
- Wireless RSS support
- Support for content from multiple formats/providers
In other news, Hearst is also going to launch a wireless e-Reader. Hearst’s business model will be to take a cut of the revenues from content sold for the device, which is not unlike what console makers are doing.
This morning, we just published about a possible Kindle 3 that is rumored to show up for Q4 2009. More eBook Stories
