Buffalo is back with a brand new SATA SSD line up, and the SHD-NSUM will spearhead the charge. You will be able to choose from a wide variety of capacities to suit your every need, ranging from 30GB to 32GB, 60GB, 64GB, 120GB and 128GB. Heck, it is equipped with a mini USB port as well so that you can use it as an external drive for easy data transfer or machine cloning before the new SSD is installed – just in case, you know? Buffalo touts a 30% increase in speed where booting time is concerned, so let’s hope real world performance reflects such claims. Apart from that, we still don’t know how much the respective capacities will cost, and neither do we have an idea about its read/write speeds.
