Canon has a new compact printer in town – the Selphy CP780. Retailing for five cents under a hundred bucks, the Selphy CP780 is another consumer grade printer that improves upon its predecessor with faster print speeds and improved image quality. This compact photo printer was specially designed to be carried around easily, and you can choose from three color options depending on your preference (silver, blue and pink). It features the Portrait Image Optimize function for sharper printouts, while the Face Detection brightness correction and color cast correction have seen some pretty thorough overhauls for faces in photos to be printed in natural and realistic colors. Each 4″ x 6″ photo will take approximately 47 seconds to complete, while easy-to-access memory card slots lets you print without having to hook up a camera to it directly.
